Dana White loses patience with Cyborg and releases her from UFC contract: 'You're free to fight wherever you want'

UFC President says the franchise will not exercise the right to match the offer received by the Brazilian and she will be able to sign with any other event

The cycle of Chris Cyborg with the UFC it has come to an end, at least that is what franchise president Dana White guarantees. On Friday night (02), the event's boss guaranteed that he will not even match the offers received by the Brazilian to renew her contract. The statement comes one day after Cris demanded an apology from the director to sign a new contract.

“I will release you from your contract. I will not match any offers. She's free and clear to go to Bellator or any other organization, and do these easy fights that she wants. Done. Today, I will literally have my lawyer draft a letter to her team that she is free and clear to go wherever she wants. We have nothing left to do with Cyborg,” said White, in an interview with the UFC’s YouTube channel.
