Now it's official! The second defense of the Daniel Cormier in heavyweight (up to 120 kg.) will be the rematch against Stipe Miocic. The fight will be the main attraction of UFC 241, an event that takes place on August 17, in Anaheim, California (USA). The UFC's expectation was that Cormier would face Brock Lesnar at this event. However, as the giant announced his retirement from MMA last week, the organization called on former champion Miocic to try to regain his title.
The two athletes faced each other for the first time in UFC 236, in July 2018.
