Listed as one of the possible replacements for alistair overeem to face the Brazilian junior gypsy for the UFC heavyweight belt, the New Zealander Mark Hunt spared no criticism of the Dutch fighter, who was caught in the examSurprise doping with high testosterone levels. In an interview with the North American program “MMA Hour”, Hunt stated that all of Overeem's recent achievements have lost importance.
“Everything Alistair has ever done has no value anymore. I don't use that sh... and no one should. Alistair was caught and he will have to deal with it, he has to look in the mirror”, said the K-1 World GP winner in 2000. “Steroids won't help you when I hit you”, added the heavyweight.

Mark also commented with satisfaction on the possibility of being chosen to fight for the UFC belt. According to the fighter, who has three consecutive victories in the organization, he only reached Ultimate for
“It’s the story of the year,” jokes Hunt. “They didn't even want me in the UFC and now we're talking about a title fight”, concluded the New Zealander.
The first defense of the belt junior gypsy is scheduled for May 27th, in the main fight of UFC 145. Initially, Ultimate is still trying to release Overeem, but the organization is already looking for a second option to replace the Dutchman.
