Fighter Sávio Vinícius, 2,13, provided an unusual moment when facing an opponent almost a meter smaller in an MMA event. The fight took place at 'Favela Kombat 31', last weekend, in Rio de Janeiro. Even with the difference in size, the 'giant' ended up defeated by his compatriot Celso 'Mão de Pedra'.

The fight took place at featherweight (up to 65,7kg), the same category in which the Brazilian competes. José Aldo, for example. The average height among fighters in this division is around 1,68m. Vinícius is the same height as the former fighter, Stefan struve, who played at heavyweight (up to 120kg.) during his career.
Even with his visible advantage in size, Sávio did not show affection against the veteran Celso 'Mão de Pedra', who, in addition to being smaller, is 21 years older than the young fighter. The fighter appeared to be slow and an easy victim of his opponent's takedowns.
The fight lasted five rounds and 25 minutes in total. In the end, Celso was declared the winner by unanimous decision of the judges and to the delight of the audience present.
'Mão de Pedra' has two wins and two losses in his career. Sávio, however, after his debut, had one fight and one defeat.
