UFC president, Dana White, revealed that he is preparing a surprise that will change the course of fights in the world. The announcement took place in an interview with 'ESPN' after the UFC 236, last weekend, in Atlanta (USA). The president, however, did not provide further details on the matter, but assured that everyone will know in the next two months.

“Wait until you see what we're working on right now in (Las) Vegas (USA). Over the next two months, I will reveal the future, not just of the UFC, but of fighting. I'm going to unveil the future of the fight in the next two months”, revealed the 'big boss'.

White hinted that the news could be related to the process of training new athletes, citing possible new reality shows about fights.

“There are a lot of athletes that we are watching right now and we are also creating 'shows' to create these talents right now”, he revealed.

Still excited after the main fights on the Atlanta card, Dana also commented on the huge increase in events held since the partnership signed between Ultimate and 'ESPN'.

“We have been in a period for some time now where every weekend we have absolutely incredible fights, and we will continue. This partnership we have with 'ESPN', right now, is great, man”, concluded the president.

Previously, the right to broadcast UFC events belonged to Fox. However, in May 2018, ESPN entered into an agreement with the organization making a five-year contract valid, ending at the end of 2024. According to Dana, in an interview held last year, Ultimate became worth US$7 billion (around R$26,6 billion). The broadcasts became part of ESPN in January 2019.
