Alexandre pantoja won the clash between Brazilians after knocking out Wilson reis in a duel valid for flyweight (up to 56,7kg) this Saturday (13), at UFC 236. The 'Cannibal' hit Reis squarely in the face, taking his opponent to the ground, forcing the referee to intervene. Poliana Botelho, another representative from Brazil, also won her fight.

Wilson reis He started the fight by taking the initiative by throwing a low kick at Alexandre, who quickly responded with a straight shot. The two began to study each other in the center of the Octagon and tried to find the distance to be able to attack.
Halfway through the round, Reis attacked Pantoja's legs and managed a good takedown. Alexandre, however, managed to get up. Poliana Botelho beats Laura Mueller and wins her first flyweight fight
The Brazilian Poliana Botelho debuted with victory in the flyweight category (up to 56,7kg) against the American Laura Mueller. Famous for her muay thai, the athlete insisted on high and low kicks against her opponent in the first round. In the end, the Brazilian landed a kick to the North American's waistline, who struck.
In the second, the Brazilian strictly followed the strategy outlined by her team, throwing good punches and kicks, scoring points and managing the fight in the clinch when necessary.
In the third stage, more tired, Poliana came under pressure from Mueller, who needed a knockout to win the fight. Botelho received a takedown, but the time was not enough for Laura to be able to submit the Brazilian.
The Nova União athlete was coming off a defeat to the North American Cynthia calvillo at UFC Buenos Aires, in November last year.
Belal Muhammad surprises and turns fight against Curtis Millender
Belal Muhammad | beat Curtis Millender by unanimous decision of the judges in a fight valid for welterweight (under 77kg). Millender started the fight by taking the initiative in his actions and dominating his opponent. The American managed to throw good jabs and straight shots at Muhammad's face, who had his eyebrow cut at the beginning of the fight.
In the second round, Belal had difficulty finding distance in the fight, receiving counterattacks whenever he sought to attack. Muhammad, however, managed a takedown halfway through the stage and managed to land some good elbows to his opponent's face. The athlete tried to work the North American on the ground, but the round was ended. Muhammad tied the fight.
In the last round, Muhammad attacked his opponent, getting a good takedown early on. The athlete then tried the mount and managed to land some good blows. The result, however, was up to the judges.
