Diógenes 'Kamikaze' (in the white shirt), as he is known, stated that the man attacked, Ulisses Teodoro, is a former student of his academy, who ended up moving to another team. Ulysses was walking down the street accompanied by a woman, when he was approached by Diogenes. The two then got into a confrontation.
In another video, the 60-year-old coach explained that he was irritated by the fact that Teodoro, 24, walked down the street wearing a shirt with the rival gym's print. He also said that he was like a father to the athlete.
“I was a father to him. A father he didn't have. Protector. Giving good advice. I was the guy's master. The guy went to another gym, talking bad about me and boasting, but he doesn't know that I was the one who taught him”, said Diógenes.
In an interview with the website 'Bem Paraná, Ulisses said that Kamikaze demanded that he take off his shirt.
Among fighting professionals there is a rule that you should not get into conflicts on the street. All clashes must be carried out according to the rules of any sport in a professional and safe manner.
After the confusion, Ulisses Teodoro filed a police report against the former coach.
