UFC president, Dana White, spoke out after the controversial fight that involved two big MMA stars, Conor McGregor e Khabib Nurmagomedov, last Wednesday (3). The representative expressed his opinion on the exchange of personal insults between the two athletes on a social network.

“I am aware of the fight between Khabib and Conor. The situation has reached a level that is unacceptable. In this way, we are taking the necessary measures to ensure that this problem is resolved internally between all parties.”, concluded Dana.
White, in turn, initially hinted that he would stay out of the controversy, but the confusion reached a level where intervention was necessary, as the fighters began to attack each other's personal lives.
The exchange of barbs between Conor and Khabib, for many, seemed, as it often does, just a move to promote the fight, which, in fact, yielded incredible pay-per-view sales. The situation, however, began to get out of control when Conor, in a parking lot, threw a wheelbarrow at the window of the bus carrying Khabib, close to UFC 223. At the time, the fighter Michael chiesa was hit by glass fragments from the vehicle and, consequently, removed from the card.
After this incident, Khabib and McGregor's rivalry only increased and, it seemed, everything would be resolved after the clash between the two at UFC 229, when the Irishman was submitted by the Russian via rear naked choke. The result was different. After the fight, Khabib jumped over the octagon fence and tried to attack one of Conor's trainers, causing widespread confusion between the teams.
McGregor recently announced his retirement from MMA, but has caused a lot of controversy on his social media. In his latest posts, he disrespected Khabib's wife and religion. The Russian, however, retorted, calling the Irishman a rapist, referring to a lawsuit currently filed against Conor over a sexual harassment allegation.
