“When the time comes to face him (Khabib), it’s kill or be killed… I don’t care who it is. It could be you, or Nate (Diaz), it could be Donald (Cerrone), as well as Khabib (Nurmagomedov). I do not care. I'm making my way to Khabib, I want to fight him. I’m the toughest matchup for him,” declared the exciting 30-year-old fighter.

With the victory over Edson Barboza, Gaethje should move up from eighth in the lightweight rankings. However, a possible duel against Khabib Nurmagomedov must still wait.
