This weekend, Rede TV gave great news for MMA fans. The broadcaster acquired the broadcasting rights from ZUFFA and will cover the UFC. It will be the first open TV channel to cover the show. The agreement begins with VT of events already held, but Rede TV wishes to carry out live broadcasts soon.
“At first we will start with the most recent (events), but we will show the oldest ones where Brazilians put on a show. The idea is to go through a recent one, an old UFC with a Brazilian putting on a show and go back to a recent one. We want to put it live too, but that arrangement will wait until later”, said Terence Mattar, the broadcaster’s sports coordinator.
