Just a few hours after the doping announcement of TJ Dillashaw, the brazilian Raphael Assunção he did not hide his irritation with the case. The fighter from Pernambuco, who had two fights against his rival in the UFC, accused the North American of always using illegal substances and said: 'he was never a real champion'

Through his Twitter account, Assunção went on to say that Dillashaw was always dirty and was warned about this in the rematch between them in 2016. The Brazilian also criticized the current situation in the 61,2 kg category. from the UFC.
“This is a joke about the division. This guy was never a real champion. (He is) A guy who plays dirty. Even the owner of the gym he trained at, Alpha Male, told me personally, before (I) gave him the rematch, that he used illegal substances – and of course other guys in his group did too,” he wrote.
