Priscila Pedrita She showed bravery, courage and willingness, but it wasn't this time that the Brazilian left the Octagon with her arm raised. This Saturday afternoon (16), on the preliminary card of the UFC London, she fought a great duel against Molly McCann, but ended up being defeated by the judges' unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28)

With the result, Priscila, who arrived undefeated in Ultimate with eight victories, suffers the second consecutive defeat in the franchise. She had been surpassed by the champion Valentina Shevchenko, in its debut, in 2018.
In turn, McCann, who reached his eighth victory as a professional – his first in the UFC – reached an important milestone in his career. She became the first English fighter to win in Ultimate.
The fight
The fight started evenly, with Pedrita walking forward and throwing dangerous punches, while McCann responded with counterattacks. With the duel evenly balanced, the Englishwoman managed to take the takedown in the middle of the stage and was close to ending the fight. She managed a chokehold and two armbars, but the Tupiniquim athlete, spectacularly, didn't hit and managed to stay alive in the fight.
With a good end to the first round, McCann came back better for the second round, against a worn-out Pedrita. Despite not taking the duel to the ground, the Englishwoman controlled the contest on her feet, was quicker with hand attacks, dodged the Brazilian's attacks and was in danger with combinations of punches, elbows and even spinning strikes. On the other hand, Priscila exudes determination walking forward, swallowing some punches and firing powerful overhands, but they were almost never connected.
Pedrita showed courage again in the third round. Already quite worn out, she walked forward throwing punches and knees, which made McCann retreat on several occasions. The Englishwoman's eye was already completely closed (see image below) due to the attacks. The judge had to stop the fight for a doctor to analyze Molly. On the way back, Pedrita still tried a flying knee, but there was no more time for the knockout.
