Darren Till faces Jorge Masvidal in the main fight of UFC London this Saturday

The most famous octagon on the planet arrives once again on the old continent with the UFC London, this Saturday (16). The card in England will be led by current local idol, Darren till. The Englishman will measure forces with the North American Jorge masvidal by welterweights (up to 77,1 kg.).

In the co-main event, the Jamaican based in England Leon edwards faces Icelandic Gunnar Nelson at welterweight.

Brazil will have two representatives at the event in London. On the main card, Claudius Hannibal face Danny Roberts by welterweights. While in the second fight of the preliminary card, Priscila Pedrita will come face to face with Molly McCann for women's flyweights.

UFC London starts on Saturday at 14pm (Brasília time) with the preliminary event. The main fights begin at 17pm.

Main Fight

The main fight will feature the main characters Darren till e Jorge masvidal. With different goals, the Englishman is looking for a new fight for the category belt, while the veteran wants to take advantage of the chance and enter the top 10 of the division.

Darren till won a place in the hearts of English fans after the retirement of the former middleweight champion, Michael Bisping. Since his UFC debut in July 2014, he has scored five victories including a big knockout over Donald Cerrone and a triumph over Stephen Thompson. Thus, the Englishman qualified for a title fight against Tyron woodley in August 2018. However, he was submitted by the North American in the second round of UFC 228. With the fans in favor, the Englishman added another triumph to dream of a new title fight.

Jorge masvidal is a veteran of events such as Bellator and Strikeforce. The American occupies 11th place in the Ultimate welterweight rankings. He debuted in the organization in April 2013, when he won Tim means by unanimous decision. Since then there have been 15 fights, where he has had nine triumphs and six setbacks. The fighter comes from two defeats to Demian Maia e Stephen Thompson and wants a victory in London to enter the top 10 of the division.

Brazilian duo

Priscila Cachoeira will be the first representative from Brazil to step into the octagon set up in Terra da Rainha. The Brazilian, known as 'Pedrita', will face Molly McCann in women's flyweight on the preliminary card. In her debut in Ultimate, the PRVT athlete was submitted by Valentina Shevchenko, current champion of the category, at UFC Belém in February 2018. The Rio native has a record of nine fights, including eight triumphs and one setback in her career.

On the main card, Cláudio 'Hannibal' will face off against Danny Roberts by welterweights. The Brazilian made his debut in March 2014, when he beat Bradley Scott in a unanimous decision in the UFC London. He has three fights in the organization and three victories. In his last engagement, he submitted Nordine Taleb in the first round in May 2018.
