Erick Silva returns at UFC on FX 3

the capixaba Erick silva has a new appointment scheduled at Ultimate. After controversial fight at UFC Rio 2, when he knocked out his compatriot Carlos Prater, but ended up disqualified by referee Mário Yamazaki, the Brazilian is scheduled to return to the octagon at UFC on FX 3, June 08th. The location of the event and Erick's opponent have not yet been confirmed. The confirmation of the clash was made by the athlete himself through his Twitter account.

“For all my fans, unfortunately we will not be together again at UFC Brazil”, wrote Erick on the microblog, “But I count on the support of all Brazilians to be with me on June 08th, at UFC on FX”, he added.

Erick, who has an MMA record of 13 wins and just two losses, had just two fights in the UFC, both in Brazil. In his debut, at UFC 134, he knocked out Luis Beição in just 40 seconds. The lightning knockout would be repeated at UFC 142, in January this year, when Silva needed just 29 seconds to take down Carlos Prater. However, Erick ended up disqualified for striking his opponent in the back of the head. The decision was heavily contested by the fighter's team, the public and even Dana White, president of Ultimate.
