Ex-UFC José Torres is injured and postpones his Brave debut

The fight against Amir Albazi was scheduled for Brave 22, March 15th, but was postponed to Brave 23, April 19th

Flyweight José Torres will have to wait a little longer to make his Brave Combat Federation debut. The North American would face the Swede amir albazi in the co-main fight of Brave 22, which takes place on March 15 in the Philippines, but suffered an undisclosed injury and was forced to leave his initial commitment in his new home.

After consultations with the teams of both athletes, Brave decided to reschedule the duel for its next event, Brave 23, which will take place on April 19, in Jordan. Torres is expected to be out of action for a few weeks and will be ready to make his debut on the star-studded Jordanian card.

Without the presence of Torres x Albazi, another star will replace them at Brave 22. Teammate of Conor McGregor, Cian Cowley will seek his third consecutive victory against John Brewin in the new co-main attraction of Brave 22, an event that marks the debut of the largest MMA organization in the Middle East in the Philippines. In the main fight, Stephen Loman will seek the third defense of his bantamweight belt against Elias Boudegzdame.

Brave 23

Brave 23 marks the promotion's return to Jordan and will feature three title fights, including a new title shot for Brazilian Luan “Miau” Santiago. The CM System athlete will try to avenge his friend lucas mineiro against lightweight champion Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady.

In the main fight, Jarrah Al-Selawe defends his welterweight belt against Abdoul Abdouraguimov, while Eldar Eldarov and Mounir Lazzez face each other for the unprecedented belt in the new super lightweight category.
