Although the Nevada Athletic Commission, the entity that sanctioned the event in Las Vegas, imposed a 180-day medical suspension on Walker, the Brazilian underwent examinations in the USA and the doctor requested only four weeks of rest before returning to training.

Even though the release happens in less than a month, it would be very unlikely that Johnny would be able to fight in the UFC London, on March 16, as he had requested at the press conference after the triumph. However, the Brazilian's second option is quite viable: a place in UFC 237, May 11th, in Rio de Janeiro.

Understand what happened.

Johnny Walker defeated the Latvian Misha Cirkunov at UFC 235, held last Saturday (02), just 36 seconds into the fight. After the triumph, the Brazilian threw himself into the octagon to make his traditional celebration with the 'worm dance'. However, when he fell to the ground, he ended up injuring his shoulder.
