Kamaru Usman won the welterweight belt (up to 77.1 kg.) after dominating Tyron woodley for 25 minutes at UFC 235. However, the new champion almost had to fight again during the celebration of his triumph. He, and his manager Ali Abdelaziz, got into a fight with former interim champion Colby Covington at a Las Vegas casino (see video below).

In the images released by the gossip website TMZ, it is possible to see Usman and Abdelaziz, shouting at Covington. The North American always returns the provocations with a smile on his face. After some pushing, Covington and Ali come face to face and the businessman tries to hit the fighter with a punch. The blow passes in the void.
“You’re not a fighter,” Colby said to Ali.
At this moment, someone shouts to the athletes 'inside the octagon, inside the octagon'
A few seconds later, the confusion was contained and the two fighters went their separate ways.
Covington taunts
Colby Covington gained international fame during the UFC Sao Paulo, from 2017, when he called Brazilian fans 'filthy animals'. After the incident, he won the interim welterweight belt by beating the Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos, but was dethroned from his post by the event for not agreeing to face Woodley – then linear champion – in September 2018. Since then, he has always appeared in public with a shirt written 'People's Champion' and with a belt on his shoulders.
