Lívia Renata Souza's return to the octagon is scheduled. 'Livinha' will have her third UFC fight at UFC Miami, on April 27th. The Brazilian will face the former strawweight champion (up to 52kg), Carla esparza. The information was given first-hand on the Combate channel website.

Lívia was hired by Ultimate in 2018, after being Invicta FC's strawweight champion. In her debut, the fighter from São Paulo submitted Alex Chambers at 1m21s of the first round in the UFC Sao Paulo in September last year. The Brazilian's second fight was at UFC Fortaleza in February, she beat Sarah Frota on points. A victory over Esparza entitles Souza to enter the top 15 in the division.
Carla esparza is going through a difficult phase in the organization, as it comes from two consecutive defeats to Claudia Gadelha e Tatiana Suarez placeholder image. If she loses again, the former strawweight champion runs the risk of being fired from the franchise. 'Cookie Monster' has a record of 19 fights, with 13 triumphs and six setbacks. Currently, the North American is in ninth place in the category ranking.
