“I would really like (to face) (Jorge) Masvidal, he has a fight scheduled now. Another name is Neil Magny, if I'm not mistaken there's no fight scheduled, it would be a good fight for me too, he's a ranked guy, so it would be interesting. But I feel ready to fight anyone, the higher the better. I want a top 10, but if it’s a top 15 it’s also worth it”, said Luque.

Despite thinking about the future, Vicente takes the moment to celebrate the 'most exciting' fight of his career. The Brasilia native assured that it was a very special clash and will remain in his history forever.

PUBLICITY:

“It was the most exciting fight (of my career), for sure. While it makes you nervous at the time, it also gives you joy. I felt great joy during the fight, listening to the public, knowing that it was a war. It was a very good and special fight, which will remain in my memory forever”, said the Brasilia native.

When analyzing the confrontation, Luque stated that the duel was a turning point in his career and took him to another level in the UFC.

PUBLICITY:

“If I look strategically, I think I made a lot of mistakes, I didn't follow what was planned, but at the same time I played Barberena's game – which is this pressure game of coming forward – and I won his game. It was definitely a test to change my level. Today I feel at another level, I'm ready to fight any ranked guy, I have the technique for it and I have the heart for it. I’m ready to keep climbing”, concluded Vicente.

Luque has his fourth consecutive victory, three by knockout and one by submission. Vicente has been in Ultimate since July 2015, when he was defeated by Michael Graves at the TUF 21 Finale. Since his debut, he has had 10 fights with eight triumphs and two setbacks.
