Anderson Silva e Israel adesanya receive 180 days of medical suspension after the big clash at UFC 234 in Melbourne. The protagonists of the main fight need to be cleared by an ophthalmologist so that their hooks can be reduced. The Brazilian suffered an injury to his right eye and the Nigerian to his left eye during the duel.

In case they are released by their doctors: Anderson will have to serve a 30-day suspension, 21 of which without training with physical contact. Meanwhile, Adesanya will only have a one-week suspension.
Five fighters also took the 180-day medical hook: Ricky simon, Dong Hyun Ma, Shane Young, Kai Kara France e Jonathan martinez. Everyone needs medical clearance to return to Ultimate before six months.
Rani Yaya received a 60 day hook after being defeated by Ricky simon in unanimous decision. Raulian paiva was suspended 45 days due to a laceration on his left eyebrow in the fight with Kara-France. Marcos Mariano will have to stay away for a week after being submitted by Lando vannata.
