The two representatives from Brazil got the worst of their fights on the main card of UFC 234, held this Saturday (09), in Melbourne, Australia. In the co-main event of the attraction, Marcos Dhalsim from São Paulo, a pupil of Andeson Silva, was submitted by Lando vannata in the first round. The Brazilian Rani Yaya was surpassed by Ricky simon in the unanimous decision (30-27, 30-25, 30-27).

The bantamweight fight began with the North American's attack that put his rival on the fence. The Brazilian tried to counter the low kicks and dived into his opponent's legs.
