“He was getting up. It was inexperience and lack of calculation. I tried to get the timing right the way the Donald Cerrone did, and I thought it was the right thing at the time, but it wasn't. I ruined everything”, explained Hardy.

The former NFL player accused of domestic violence stated that he did not intend to inflict an illegal knee on his rival. However, Greg feels guilty about the incident and admitted that he let his team down.

“I was built for this. I was made for this and I let people down. I disappointed my gym, my team and you know? This is boring. I didn't want it to be like this. It sucks for Allen Crowder, getting knocked out like that, regardless of what he thinks of me. I take full responsibility for this, it is not something I did on purpose. Anyone who has ever met me or followed me knows that it's not something I would do. I wanted us to go back there and have a third round”, concluded the fighter.
