The light heavyweight Rogério Minotouro injured his knee in training and is out of the main fight of the UFC On FUEL TV 2, which will be held on April 14th. He will be replaced by the Brazilian Thiago Silva, who will face the local athlete Alexander Gustafson. The replacement was announced by UFC officials this Tuesday.
Without fighting since UFC 125, on January 1, 2010, Silva served a year suspension after being caught in a drug test after the fight with Brandon Vera. The fighter from São Paulo was eligible to receive a new fight license since January 2, 2012. He would face Igor Pokrajac at UFC On FUEL TV 3, in May.
UFC On FUEL TV 2 marks the organization's debut in Sweden. The event will be played at the Ericsson Globe Arena, in the capital Stockholm. In addition to this event, in 2012 the UFC already held international events in Brazil, Japan and Australia.
