Chris Cyborg stepped into the octagon set up in Los Angeles (USA) for UFC 232, considered the overwhelming favorite to defend the women's featherweight belt. But in just 51 seconds, the woman from Paraná saw her long unbeaten run of 13 years and 21 fights fall apart against her compatriot Amanda nunes. At the press conference after the event, Cris wasted no time and is already aiming for a rematch against the Bahian executioner.

“Of course I want a rematch. If you lose, you want it. If I didn’t like fighting, I wouldn’t do it”, said Cris in the press room.
Still during the press conference, Cyborg, who was almost unanimously considered the greatest fighter of all time, heard that Amanda had lost her place as the best in history. The former champion makes a point of praising Nunes, but ponders the change in the position of 'greatest of all'
“I lost twice, she lost four. It needs to not lose any more to be the best in history. It's clear she did a lot for the sport. She fought. She didn't get the value she should have. I hope she achieves this now. Who knows, maybe I was used by God to bless her,” she added.
Cyborg also made the comparison with the first defeat she suffered in her career, in her professional debut against Erica Paes. She guarantees that the setback will make her return to the gym and train even harder.
“Everything was new the first time. It didn't affect me at the time. It's like that in sport. One day we lose, we win another. I lost, now it's time to go back to the gym and train. It doesn't affect me. It will only make me better and better”, he concluded.
