Middleweight Bruno Assis returned to Brave Combat Federation with a remarkable triumph over Rustam Chsiev on the preliminary card of Brave 21, an event that took place this Friday (28), in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. After beating Douglas Mahal in his debut for the promotion, the victim was Russian Rustam Chsiev.

After a first round dominated by Chsiev in the clinch, the Russian took advantage of an opening from the BH Rhinos athlete to finally put him down. Bruno worked his guard very well, minimizing damage and moving his hips away to attack Chsiev's arms at all times. At the end of the second round, he managed to land a triangle that gave him his second victory in the organization.
Bruno was the only Brazilian to win in Brave 21, which featured the performances of Gabriel “Fly” and Geraldo “Luan Santana”. “Fly” was defeated by Akhmed Magomedov in the decision after being dominated and having few good moments.
Geraldo, in turn, ended up being knocked out by the undefeated Ikram Aliskerov. The welterweight, who fought at 79 kg, was praised for his bravery, as he was almost knocked out in the second round, but he showed resistance and continued the fight, only succumbing at the end of the last round.
In the main fight, Jeremy kennedy he took away Marat Magomedov's unbeaten record with a brilliant performance. Faster on his feet and with his takedown defense up to date, the Canadian hurt the Russian throughout the fight until he stunned him at the beginning of the third round with a left hook. Marat fell in a daze, but still had to take more blows for the referee to stop the fight.
After his second victory, Kennedy taunted the current featherweight champion Bubba Jenkins, reiterated that he feels like the champion of the Brave division and even said that he had “defended” his title against Magomedov.
