UFC 232: Cyborg and Amanda make weight and confirm superfight; Gustafsson wears shirt taunting Jones

Everything is ready for the most anticipated event of the year! At the official weigh-in for UFC 232, an event that takes place next Saturday (29), the main stars of the show confirmed the two title fights. Just Montel Jackson, who will have his first fight on the show, was unable to reach 61,2kg, the limit for the bantamweight division, and transferred 20% of his purse to his rival brian kelleher.

Highlight in the 100% Brazilian duel, valid for the women's featherweight belt, Amanda nunes, even moving up from bantamweight, she became heavier than her compatriot Chris Cyborg, current champion of the category.

Amanda went on stage hand in hand with her partner Nina ansaroff . The Bahian weighed 65,7 kg, the featherweight division limit. In turn, Cyborg was on the scales with the Brazilian flag painted on his face. The current division champion weighed 65,3kg.

At the time of the traditional face-off, the fighters shook hands, forgetting the provocative atmosphere that preceded the duel. They stood face to face and stared, but without any kind of contact.

“I only have one thing to say. That belt will change hands tomorrow. Get ready,” said Amanda.

The atmosphere between Jones and Gustafsson became even hotter at the ceremonial weigh-in for UFC 232. The Swede arrived wearing a shirt with the word 'doping' crossed out and the scales pointed to the print. He weighed 92,8 kg, just 200 grams below the division limit.

Even fighting at home, Jones went on stage to boos from the fans in Los Angeles. Bones weighed 92,5 kg and went into the fight without looking at Gustafsson.
