The focus of journalists during the press conference held on Thursday (27), in Inglewood (USA) was on Jon Jones. The former light heavyweight champion was caught again in an anti-doping test carried out at the beginning of December which found traces of 'turinabol' in his body. Therefore, Ultimate had to move the event from Las Vegas to California with just six days until the show.

Despite the results of the test, the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) cleared Jones to fight at UFC 232, as the amount of steroid was just a remnant in the athlete's body from a 2017 ingestion. the subject, Jon became irritated during the interview.
“People are ignoring that this amount is so small that it shouldn't even be mentioned. There are no effects. If you divide a grain of salt into 48 million pieces, you get a picogram (it's one millionth of a microgram). […] So I put a picogram on my body and it made me better? You better believe that a picogram can make me more confident. I’m glad you believe that,” Jones responded.
Tired of the doping episodes involving Jones, Alexander Gustafson stated that Jones is nothing more than a 'cheater'. He also guaranteed that 'Bones' will be beaten even if he uses 'rocket gasoline'.
“You always say the same s*** without salt, you said that before you were knocked out in your country. Shut the f*** up,” Gustafsson shot at Jon.
After an explosive press conference, the confrontation between Jones and Gustafsson was calm. When posing for photos, 'Bones' took the belt from Ultimate President Dana White's hands and put himself in the position of light heavyweight champion.
