Hunt stated that Ultimate's attitude was disrespectful to fans of the franchise who bought tickets to watch the show. He hopes no one buys the pay-per-view packages, as he believes the organization only thought about the income it would raise from television.

“UFC, Ultimate F**** Cheaters. Why don't they remove Jones, pay Gustafsson and leave the event in Vegas? All the fans and families who paid don't want to miss out. Oh yeah, you only care about pay-per-view. Merry Christmas to everyone who has already paid to go there. I hope no one buys the PPV, you motherfuckers. The least you could do is pay for all the flights to California and the accommodations. Tickets, food and everything you ruined. Oh, and you can stick my crooked finger up your ass for Christmas, Dana White, you dumb b***h,” Hunt wrote.

Jones was caught with traces of the steroid turinabol during a doping test on Sunday (23). The Nevada Athletic Commission did not authorize Jon's participation, as it would not have enough time to investigate the results of the tests until December 29th. As the California committee had already allowed 'Bones' to return, Inglewood was chosen as the venue for the franchise's last show in 2018.
