The Japanese, Shinya Aoki, who faces the Brazilian, Gesias Cavalcante, in the debut edition of M-1 Global on December 31st, spoke to the organization's official website about his expectations for the fight.
“I found out about the fight the day before the official announcement. Besides being strong, he is one of the best fighters in the world, but I have some great techniques now that I hope to use in the fight”, said the Jiu-Jitsu specialist. “If he doesn’t beat me, no one else will beat me. I hope we can have a great fight and I will win by knockout”, added the former Pride fighter.
