Even with the postponement of the 'Notorious' trial, the Athletic Commission maintained the hearing for Nurmagomedov. According to the document published by the commission on its website, the “Disciplinary Complaint Hearing or, alternatively, Settlement Proposal Hearing for the MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, for possible action” remains confirmed on December 10th.
Although the Athletic Commission requires the presence of the lightweight champion, it is likely that the Russian will be represented by his lawyers.
Khabib, Conor and their teammates involved in the chaos in Las Vegas remain suspended until they are tried. The only immediate punishment imposed by the committee was the provisional withholding of half of the purse Nurmagomedov was to receive for the $1 million fight.
The Athletic Commission has not released a new date for McGregor's trial.
