UFC fighter Rachael Ostovich was attacked on Sunday (18) in the city of Honolulu. The main suspect was her husband, who is also an MMA fighter, Arnold Berdon. Thus, on Wednesday (21), the Hawaii police arrested the athlete's partner. He is charged with attempted second-degree murder and could be sentenced to life in prison.

According to documents revealed by the North American website TMZ, Ostovich was repeatedly hit in the head, face and ribs, causing her to fall to the ground. Even though she had difficulty breathing, Rachael managed to escape the scene. The fighter also said that due to the attack she choked on her own blood and vomited a few times.
According to the documents, the flyweight had previously been attacked by Berdon. She cites an attack she suffered in May this year, where her husband hit her legs numerous times. Because of this, the fighter remains in prison.
Ostovich had a restraining order granted by Hawaii courts. As a result, Arnold will have to remain 30 meters away from Rachael and her five-year-old daughter.
