Fabricio Werdum faces Gordon Ryan in a superfight at Combat Jiu-Jitsu

Even though he was away from the UFC due to an anti-doping test, the gaucho will take part in his second jiu-jitsu superfight on February 22, 2019, in Monterrey (MEX)

Unable to play in the UFC until May 2020, Fabricio Werdum he returned to his roots and is competing again in grappling championships. The Brazilian was called up to face Gordon Ryan at Combat Jiu-Jitsu, in Monterrey, Mexico. The superfight will take place for heavyweights on February 22, 2019.

In his first fight after being suspended by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), Werdum faced Lucas Hulk at the Spyder BJJ Invitational. The duel on November 3, in South Korea ended in a draw. The gaucho is a two-time black belt jiu-jitsu world champion and two-time ADCC world champion.
