Mirsad Bektic was scheduled to face Renato Moicano at UFC 231, December 8th in Toronto (CAN). The Bosnian suffered an injury and was removed from the clash with the Brazilian. Carneiro is the reserve for the main fight for the featherweight belt between Max Holloway e Brian ortega. With this, Ultimate will have three weeks to find a new rival for the fighter from Brasilia.
