Ponzinibbio and Magny confirm UFC Buenos Aires main fight

The 24 athletes scheduled for UFC Buenos Aires next Saturday (17) confirmed their fights. The protagonists of the main fight, Santiago Ponzinibbio e Neil Magny they weighed 77,6 kg and 77,1 kg, respectively and secured the duel. However, the weigh-in did not go smoothly. The fighter Cynthia calvillo had difficulty getting on the scale. She weighed 53,5kg and was 900g above the category limit.

Poliana Botelho believes that the fight against Calvillo will be the most difficult of her career

Calvillo's rival, Poliana Botelho accepted the confrontation and will receive 20% of the North American's purse. Without any difficulties, the Brazilian weighed 52,4kg, the limit for the women's strawweight category.

In the first 30 minutes of the weigh-in, 21 of the 24 athletes scheduled for the event stepped on the scale. Among them the Brazilians: Poliana, Johnny Walker (93,2kg), Anderson Berinja (65,5kg), Cezar Mutant (84,1kg), Alexandre pantoja (56,9kg) and Michel Trator (77,3kg).
