The fight between Ronaldo Jacare and Chris Wiedman sent the audience into a frenzy at UFC 230, an event held this Saturday (03) at the legendary Madison Square Garden gym in New York (USA). In the first two rounds the North American had the advantage, but at 2:46 of the third round the Brazilian, in a fantastic comeback, achieved a beautiful knockout. Due to the excitement of the dispute, the middleweights were awarded the 'Fight of the Night' award. Each pocketed US$50 in bonuses, around R$185 at the current exchange rate.

In addition to Jacaré and Weidman, two other athletes received performance bonuses. The 'Performance of the Night' awards went to Jared Cannonier e Israel adesanya. Each also received US$50.
Cannonier entered the Octagon as an underdog and surprised by defeating David Branch by knockout at 29 seconds into the second round. In turn, the Nigerian Israel adesanya 'erased' the veteran Derek Brunson at 4:51 of the first round and won the third combat bonus of his career.
