Jon Jones he has been away from the Octagon for more than 16 months. But before even fighting again, the former light heavyweight champion has already created the first friction. At the press conference for UFC 232, an event that takes place on December 29th, 'Bones' went on the attack against Alexander Gustafson, who will face him in the light heavyweight title fight. The North American even pushed the Swede during the traditional face-off for photos (see the video below)

The atmosphere between Jones and Gustafsson was provocative throughout the press conference. 'Bones' remembered the first clash between them, in September 2013, when he won in a close decision by the judges. However, the North American stated that the duel was only played because he did not prepare as he should have.
“I remember that when I fought Gustafsson everyone said that he looked like me, that he had the same qualities, but he wasn't me. I know I didn’t even train as much as I should have, but I managed to be a very strong guy, with a lot of drive”, said Jon, before being interrupted. “That’s all excuses, all I hear are excuses and nonsense,” replied the Swede.
Jones did not give up and responded. "'Can I ask you a question?' If my excuse is the lack of training, what is your excuse to say that you missed me?”, he asked. Immediately, Alexander responded. “I didn’t lose to you”, remembering that many analysts marked the Swede’s victory.
At the end, at the moment of the traditional staring, more provocations. The two exchanged glances face to face, but when taking photos, Jones was in front of Gustafsson, who didn't like it and also positioned himself in front of the American. Afterwards, 'Bones' pushed his rival and Dana White, president of the franchise, had to intervene to prevent the fight from starting prematurely.
