With Johnson's departure, Formiga moves up to first place in the flyweight rankings

Johnson and Eddie Alvarez's moves to One Championship caused the UFC's flyweight, lightweight and pound-for-pound rankings to change.

The changes of the former flyweight and lightweight champions, Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez for the One Championship caused the category rankings to change. With 'Mighty Mouse' leaving first place, Jussier formiga rose four places and became the number one challenger in the division.

Other Brazilians who benefited from Demetrious’ transfer were: Deiveson Figueiredo (5º), Wilson reis (7 °) Alexandre pantoja (9 °) and Matheus Nicolau (13th). For the first time, the North American Alex Perez is among the TOP 15 flyweights.

The weight-for-weight ranking also changed with Johnson's withdrawal. Conor McGregor which occupied 8th position, now appears in seventh place. Former bantamweight champion Dominck Cruz, who was not on the list, is in fifteenth place.

Eddie Alvarez's departure also brought changes to the lightweight division. The former champion occupied fourth place in the rankings, so all fighters below him on the list moved up one position. With this, the Brazilian Edson Barboza was promoted to fifth place.
