Another fight was announced for the UFC Argentina card, on November 17th, in Buenos Aires. This is a featherweight duel between veterans Ricardo Lamas and Darren Elkins, who will fight the second most important fight on the show. The information was released by the organization itself.

At 36 years old, Lamas is going through a turbulent time in his career, with two consecutive defeats – knocked out by Josh Emmett and surpassed in the decision by Mirsad Bektic. Former challenger for the belt in the under-66kg division, 'The Bully', as he is known, has nine triumphs and five setbacks in Ultimate, currently occupying 12th place in the rankings.
One place lower on the featherweight list and two years younger, Elkins is coming off a loss to Alexander Volkanovsky, a stumble that ended a series of six straight victories. Competing for the UFC for eight years, he has accumulated 14 positive results and five negative results in the house, having already beaten names like Michael Johnson, Mirsad Bektic, Dennis Bermudez e Geoffrey Pepey.
The main fight of the UFC's debut in Argentina will be the welterweight duel between Santiago Ponzinibbio e Neil Magny. Six Brazilians are scheduled for the show: Cezar Mutant faces Tom Breese, Poliana Botelho face Cynthia calvillo, Michel Trator measures forces with Bartosz Fabinski, Alexandre pantoja competes with Ulka Sasaki and the newcomers Johnny Walker e Ariane Lipski duelam contra Kahlil Rountree e Maryna morozrespectively.
