“McGregor was talking that s***, so it’s not over. After I face Khabib, McGregor and I will face each other again. People ask, 'Why is he going to keep facing these MMA guys?' Dude, listen: me and Khabib are going to do huge numbers, me and McGregor did huge numbers. The guy who faces me will make a lot of money. I'm ready to get in there, do the work and entertain. Because my fight against McGregor was real entertainment. I gave the people what they wanted to see,” Mayweather explained.

Mayweather believes that duels between himself and MMA fighters keep combat sports alive. “A lot of people didn’t think McGregor and I would fight. But I was happy it happened: it made the UFC go up a notch. What I’m doing is keeping all combat sports alive,” Floyd said.

Mayweather analyzes that the confrontation with Khabib will exceed the amounts raised in the fight with Conor. “I’m going to get a paycheck in the nine figures. More than in the fight against McGregor. Probably $100 million more, guaranteed. Let’s say, somewhere between 110 million and 200 million, guaranteed”, concluded the boxer.
