The always controversial Chael Sonnen attacked once again. The North American, who had his opponent changed at UFC on Fox 2 due to Mark Munoz's injury, he even said that he likes the style of Michael Bisping, his new opponent, but he is not worried about the duel against the British athlete.
“ Bisping is very arrogant, which is something I like about people. I like people who are arrogant. He wins points with me being like that, but I think it irritates a lot of people”, said Sonnen, in an interview with USA Today. Chael also stated in the North American newspaper's article that changing opponents less than two weeks before the event will not make him change his strategy. “I'm not a one-trick fighter,” said the American, who went further. “I'm the best fighter in the world. And I am because I can fight anywhere,” he said.
With his tongue always sharp, Sonnen criticized the way in which Bisping asks for a chance against the Brazilian Anderson Silva, champion of the category and declared rival of Chael. For North Americans, English requests are depressing.
“I don’t think Bisping can win Anderson Silva. I find the speech about insisting on asking for a chance to compete for the title depressing. I never asked for a chance to fight for the title. I want the title. It's a tremendous difference between my way of thinking and that of other fighters. If you want your name in the spotlight and a big check, go out there and get it,” he concluded.
