The UFC featherweight category has another Brazilian representative signed. With José Aldo as champion and Diego Brandao as the winner of TUF, the 66-pound division. will now feature black belt Miltinho Viera. The Brazilian Top Team athlete, who debuted in Strikeforce with a quick submission in August 2011, agreed to go to the biggest MMA organization in the world. The Brazilian's debut should take place in April, with no opponent yet defined.
Former PRIDE fighter and middleweight teammate Rousimar Toquinho, Miltinho Viera has an MMA record of 13 wins and seven losses.
With the contractual agreement, Miltinho becomes the eighth Brazilian fighter to join the featherweight division. Viera joins José Aldo, current champion, Diego Brandao, Iuri Marajó, Felipe Sertanejo, Diego Nundes, Charles “do Bronx”, Vagner Rocha
