Zubaira Tukhugov was one of the protagonists of the collective fight after the main fight of UFC 229 on Saturday (06) in Las Vegas. The featherweight was one of the targets of provocations from Conor McGregor that preceded the confrontation. The Irishman called him Kabib Nurmagomedov a 'traitor' to his ethnicity for teaming up with the Chechen fighter. With that, the athlete promised to attack the Irishman outside the cage. On Sunday, 'Warrior' took to social media to boast about fulfilling his oath.

Due to the attack, three members of Nurmagomedov's team were arrested, but released shortly afterwards. According to the organization's president, Dana White, McGregor did not press charges for the attack. The video posted by the fighter appears to have been filmed in the T-Mobile Arena locker room, so he may not have been one of the men taken away by police.
