At 42 years old and with 51 professional fights in his career, Wanderlei Silva suffered his 14th defeat last Saturday (29), when he was knocked out by Quinton Rampage Jackson at Bellator 206. But despite his long journey in the fight world, the 'Mad Dog' refuses to hang up his gloves.

Through a post on his Facebook account, Wand thanked his fans for their support in his fight against Rampage and assured that he will continue fighting. He even stated that 'he's already thinking about the next (fight)'.

“I would like to thank all my friends and fans for supporting me. Leaving the Octagon with an ovation made me very happy and gives me the strength to fight again. I represented our country with determination, unfortunately the victory did not come this time. It was the best fight of the night at Bellator 206. At 42 years old I can still do a few more fights, I'm already thinking about the next one. Who could be my next opponent? Thank you for your support, my brothers!”, he wrote.

Despite pushing aside retirement and revealing that he is already thinking about returning, Wanderlei did not reveal when and against whom his next commitment will be. Before the dispute against Rampage, Vitor belfort revealed his support for his compatriot and offered Silva a rematch. However, the Curitiba native did not answer whether the 100% Tupiniquim duel could still happen.
