Favoritism belongs to champion Cris Cyborg

Brazilian-American Cristiane Justino, better known as Chris Cyborg, is a phenomenon in women's MMA, and a large part of specialized critics consider her to be the greatest fighter of all time.

The numbers speak for themselves: Cyborg hasn't known what it's like to lose a fight since her professional debut, at Show Fight 2, in May 2005, when she was submitted by Erica Paes with a leg lock. Since then, he has stepped into the Octagon another 20 times, recording 19 victories (17 by knockout) and one no contest.

In addition to being the current UFC featherweight division champion, the fighter has already won titles in other renowned franchises, such as Strikeforce and Invicta FC. In five fights for the organization led by Dana White, where she has been since 2016, there were four knockouts, against Leslie Smith, Lina Lansberg, Tonya Evinger and It's Kunitskaya, and a single triumph by decision of the judges, in the fight against Holly holm at UFC 219, in December last year.

Cyborg is the best option for bettors who want to take fewer risks, as they have unquestionable favoritism. However, it offers a much more modest return margin than its rival, set at R$1,33 for each real invested.

Amanda's triumph could yield a jackpot

If the champion Chris Cyborg  has her place guaranteed on any list of the greatest fighters of all time, the challenger, Amanda nunes, is not far behind, and arrives at this dispute based on a series of impressive results.

PUBLICITY:

Hired by the UFC five years ago, the Brazilian has been undefeated since 2014, and has defeated some strong opponents in this period. Among the rivals who were knocked out by Nunes, the highlight is Germain de Randamie, Shayna Baszler, the star Ronda Rousey and most recently Rachel Pennington, at UFC 224, in May. Additionally, she had very successful stints with the Strikeforce and Invicta FC franchises.

Amanda is the current champion of the bantamweight division, and at the most fruitful moment of her career, she accepted the challenge of moving up in weight to try to unify the belts. The Lioness, as she is known, has a record of 16 wins and four losses, has survived three title defenses and received three performance of the night awards throughout her career.

In December 2016, at the same T-Mobile Arena, and in a very similar situation, Nunes faced another living legend of the sport, and came out on top. The Brazilian was the first opponent of Ronda Rousey after losing the belt, and the general expectation was that, at home, the American would recover from the setback against Holly holm. Rousey just didn't count on the heavy hand of the Brazilian, who needed just 48 seconds to settle the score with a spectacular knockout.

The quotas of Oddsshark.com are not very favorable to Amanda nunes, but the challenger could prove to be a gold mine for the most audacious bettors. If she manages to beat the favorite, each real invested will yield R$3,30.
