“I didn't stop being Brazilian when I received North American citizenship, just as I didn't allow my colleagues to disrespect my country by calling it trash and full of filthy animals. Brazil knows the Chris Cyborg, I come back all the time to help promote Brazil and continue to help make positive changes in my communities”, Cris posted on his Twitter.
I'm Brazilian and will always be even after I got American citizenship. I never accepted colleagues disrespecting my country calling it a “dump” calling us “filthy animals”! Brazil knows @criscyborg. The case
The first provocation was made by Cyborg when he called Amanda 'creon' for training at the American Top Team, the same team as Colby covington. Since the interim welterweight champion has insulted Brazil and the Brazilian people on many occasions.
Through social media, Nina responded to Cyborg accusing her of 'being stupid'. The fighter also recalled that Cris has North American citizenship and has been training in the United States for longer than the 'Lione'.
