Lightweight Bernardo “Trekko” Magalhães is another Brazilian representative in the UFC. The fighter, who is champion of the under-70 kg category in the CFC (Cage Fighting Championship), signed with the largest MMA organization in the world and will make his debut next month. He will face fellow debutante Yoislandy “Cuba” Izquierdo at UFC Fuel 1, which takes place on February 15th in Omaha, in the United States.
With a record of 11 wins and just one defeat, Trekko is still not known to the general Brazilian public, as he consolidated his entire career outside the country. In his last appearance, at Cage Fighting Championship 17, the Tupiniquim athlete beat Robert Lisita in the judges' decision.
