Coming off a defeat in his last fight, in July, Mauricio Shogun He already has a date and opponent to seek his recovery in the octagon. The Brazilian goes to the other side of the world to face Tyson Peter at UFC Fight Night Adelaide, an event that takes place on December 1st, in Australia. The information was released, this Wednesday (26), by the Australian website 'SportingNews'.

Former light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg.), Mauricio Shogun has a professional record of 25 wins and 11 losses. The Brazilian, who occupies 11th position in the category ranking, had three consecutive victories until meeting with Anthony Smith at UFC Hamburg, July 22, in Germany. In the duel, which could give the Curitiba native the chance to compete again for the category belt, he was severely knocked out in just over a minute of combat and fell down the rankings. Now, the 36-year-old fighter needs to start his journey again if he still thinks about fighting for the Ultimate belt.
