MMA fighters work for a long time in search of the perfect knockout, that blow that hits home and the rival falls unconscious to the ground. Imagine getting to this moment in a title fight. Austin Batra did it in a sensational way, but ruined the triumph in an insane way. The welterweight division athlete (up to 77,1 kg.) was competing for the title of the Battlefield Fight League amateur event, last Saturday (22), when the curious thing happened.

Batra connected with a beautiful left cross on Perry Hayer, who fell to the ground, knocked out. But instead of celebrating the triumph, he jumped on the central referee, who had interrupted the dispute, and threw a punch at the disabled rival (see the video below).

It is still unclear why Batra tried to knock out his rival. As punishment, he was defeated by disqualification. As a result, despite being knocked out, Perry Hayer won the event belt.
