“I was surprised, I thought they were going to put me with some light heavyweight. It ends up, for me, in the top division. I'll see how I feel, of course I'll be strong, but I won't fight a real light heavyweight”, explained the fighter.

With the arrival of Anders, Marreta had five days to adapt his training to the new opponent. “There are some basic differences that we are analyzing and putting into practice in this final stretch. Before I would fight against a right-handed person, and he is left-handed. Because I'm a middleweight, the advantage of my movement isn't that great. It takes five days to make some adjustments, some details change, but nothing that will harm me”, said Thiago.

Thiago Marreta at 34 years old, his professional MMA record includes 24 fights, with 18 triumphs and six setbacks. He is coming off a decision victory over Kevin holland in August this year at UFC 227.
