Lightweight Cleiton Predador is coming off a stunning victory over Egyptian Ahmed Amir in his debut for Brave. Scheduled to face Argentine Marcelo Bustos at Brave 15, which will take place this Friday in Colombia, the Brazilian approved the change in his fight – he would previously face Pedro Colman, from Paraguay, who was injured and gave way to “Tchelo”.

In an exclusive interview, the Full House athlete also assured that he intends to soon compete for the belt in the biggest MMA event in the Middle East and declared that “it will be more enjoyable to beat an Argentine”.

“The change of opponent didn’t influence much. I was preparing for Colman, but now with Bustos it will be better. Hitting in Argentine will be more enjoyable (laughs). Argentina is Brazil's customer in all sports and MMA will be no different. I'm going to hit him a lot and I can't wait for another knockout. The ultimate goal is the belt, but it only comes with a lot of show and I will continue to provide great fights to get there”, said Cleiton.

The Brazilian commented on learning from his first MMA fight at an international event and admitted he was surprised by the size of the organization:

PUBLICITY:

“I learned from the first fight that I must always be improving, always looking for improvement. The fight with Amir was very good, but I couldn't show much, as he fought the fight a lot, even though I won well. I could see that Brave is a big event, very strong, bigger than I imagined, so I have to always improve to keep my place here. I hope to always live up to Brave.”

Cleiton also spoke about what he expects from his category and assured that he is prepared to take greater strides within Brave's lightweight division, currently one of the organization's most competitive divisions.

PUBLICITY:

“I'm very prepared for bigger flights, I want the belt, I didn't come for a trip. I want to be the king of Brave. Brave's cage will be my home and everyone will tremble when I walk in there. I want the belt, nothing more than that. My category is the best in Brave, very competitive, lots of tough opponents, from great teams. We’re going with everything we can to make a difference in this category and I hope that Brave will always give me opportunities to fight against the best.”

Brave 15 will feature a lightweight duel between former UFC fighters as its main attraction Geoffrey Pepey and Alex Torres.
